Location: Milkstone Road neighbourhood, Rochdale, Lancs.
The Commission: to work and consult with the local community, including hosting events, running workshops and creating and distributing the ‘Take-away Art Kit’. Also the production of a feasibility report and twelve fully detailed and costed design proposals for public art works for the area.
Special about this project: The ‘Take-Away Art kits’ (150 were assembled) which contained exciting art and craft activities with all the materials required to complete them on the theme of an indian take-away meal.
Phase 2:
Implementing the first Design Proposal

Location: Milkstone Road neighbourhood, Rochdale, Lancs.
The Commission: Using the art work created with the community in phase 1, design steel security window grilles for a number of shop premises on Milkstone Road.
Special about this project: The finished steelwork solved security issues for local traders whilst enhancing the environment and reflecting the visions of the community.
