The Commission: Using storytelling and drama, local children created a story & then produced artworks to illustrate it. These formed the mosaic and bronze artworks for the floorscape. We also ran drama and drumming workshops and made costumes and instruments for the opening celebration.

Special about this project: Using music and drama alongside designing the artworks allowed the children and residents to become really involved in the whole process of deigning and making the space for themselves.
