The Commission: To create a team made up of artists and furniture designer-makers to deliver a CDT project for 28 pupils at Plant Hill High School resulting in permanent seating and picnic provision in neighbouring Blackley Forest.

Special about this project: the opportunity it gave pupils at Plant Hill School to work through all stages of the project with a team of outside professionals. These stages included thorough preliminary research, establishing a concept, model-making and production of technical drawings, design appraisal, fabrication and installation of agreed designs.
