The Commission: To create a bespoke sports are seating and viewing shelter to seat approximately ten young people. The structure was required to give shelter from the prevailing wind whilst being sufficiently open to allow
those inside the shelter to see out and to prevent anyone from using the
shelter to hide and attack others. It reflects the town's marine history and
respects the criteria put forward by local young people during consultation
carried out by Groundwork Wirral.
